Like all I wanna do is write and spin my damn tables, but im so loopy in the head and tired and grossness, that when I try, I just give up after about 30 min. But this is just going to make me jump back in to the game even harder. Come this weekend for sure you can guarantee some new jams, some “DJ Jams” as Tallllll calls em, coming from my speakers. Hey everyone, so those of you who know me, know I love music.
LOVE music.
Which is why i am excited to announce I got a very nice DJ setup to start playing the music we all love for everyone to dance to. I was able to get the rig with the help of a good friend, and it consists of:
Rane TTM 57SL mixer
Technics SL-1210 tables
KAOSS Pad 3 For crazyness and fun
Denon HC1000s for complete control over Serato
MacBook Pro running Serato.
Latin Percussion Bongos.
When Abelton and Serato decide to release “The Bridge,” I will be running Abelton within Serato, and using my Akai MPK 49 to control soft Synths from Abelton, and my Novation Launchpad to launch clips from Abelton. All while simultaneously running the two decks within Serato. Basically, get ready to dance your asses off.
I am looking forward to a great summer of Music, Friends, and travel. Everyone keep your eyes and ears open for Lights Over Paris all over the states this summer. Come say hi to us if u see us. :)
